Worcester Pearmain Apple Tree


The Worcester Pearmain produces a medium, red dessert apple, with a sweet flavour. A tree of moderate vigour, it is very resistant to mildew and slightly susceptible to Scab and Canker. A heavy cropper, with fruit to be picked early/mid September and used September to October.

Raised by Mr Hale of Swan Pool, St Johns, Worcester. Introduced by St Johns Nursery in 1874. Received a First Class Certificate from the RHS in 1875.
